Dr Darren Oldridge teaches History at the University of Worchester. He has written extensively on religion and belied in the early modern period, as well as the depiction of evil in literature in film. His most recent books include The Devil in Tudor and Stuart England (The History Press Ltd, 2010) and, as editor, The Witchcraft Reader (2nd ed, Routledge, 2008).
